Fall 2011 is set to be a busy one for speaking engagements featuring members of the Heenan Blaikie LLP Entertainment Law Group:
- on September 22, the Ontario Bar Association’s Entertainment, Media & Communications Law Section is hosting New Deals in Canadian Entertainment Law: Terms of Trade, Consolidation and Commercial Clauses in Toronto; Stephen Zolf will be moderating the “Content in a Consolidated Environment” panel and Hilary Goldstein will be a panelist at the “Commercial Clauses” session
- on October 7, Bob Tarantino will be speaking at the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Ethical Considerations in an Age of Technology CPD program (the same program is being re-presented live on November 21)
- on October 24, David Steinberg will be co-chairing the Film Production & Finance Summit in New York City and Ken Dhaliwal will be appearing as a panelist
- on October 24 and 25, Bob Tarantino will be a course leader at the Mastering Entertainment Law conference in Toronto
- on October 28, David Steinberg and Bob Tarantino will be speaking in Toronto at Entertainment Law – Primers, Developments and Strategies
- on November 1 and 2, Maxime Gagne will be speaking at the Montreal International Game Summit, presenting “Moving on the Next Level: The Legal Implications of Shifting to Digital Distribution of Video Games”
