(The Final) Bill C-32: Commentary Round-up
Bill C-32 (The Copyright Modernization Act) died with the prorogation of the 40th Canadian Parliament on March 26, 2011. My own views on the bill were (and remain) largely irrelevant, but I will be discussing what would have changed had the bill been passed into law (and what the lack of passage means for practitioners) at the Law Society of Upper Canada's 2011 Entertainment & Media Law Symposium, along with my co-panelists Erin Finlay and Giuseppina D'Agostino.
